Jacob served in the Northampton Co Militia, 3rd Battalion 7th Company, 6th Class. In the History of Lehigh Co. his name is spelled Jacob Hundsinger.
He is named as a trustee along with Casper of his fathers will. In Johannes will it states "Further, I bequeath to my son Jacob Hunsicker in Heidelberg Township Northampton County a piece of land of two hundred and fifty acres more or less in Endig, for which he shall pay to me John H. Sr. or my heirs two hundred Pounds as the notes, twenty pounds annually come due. Within this deal his inheritance of two-hundred Pounds is thereby deducted. Furthermore, my son Jacob H. will pay for other necessities for myself and my wife as detailed in another written agreement. Above land borders on Johannes Handwerker, Jr., Adam German and the land of others."
